Minimum Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and effective time management skills.
Duties Description Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Monitor and track mandatory training requirements, schedule in-person training as needed. Prepare training material and track completed training attestations.
2. Maintain BHRM’s COVID-19 related databases. Conduct daily employee check-ins and reach out to employees to check on in office reporting if needed. Refer issues to appropriate HR staff. Maintain tracking for COVID testing requirements. Review documentation and obtain missing information. Process related reports and record testing results according to guidelines established.
3. Monitor HR’s shared email accounts to ensure timely responses to inquiries. Answer questions and provide information to employees regarding HR matters. Answer phones, develop and complete forms, assist employees, create or assist in preparing reports, charts, and other related activities.
4. Assist with recruitment activities – posting vacancies internally and externally, receive and properly handle resumes, schedule interviews and perform recruitment outreach activities as assigned,
5. Disseminate HR related information to employee and perform office support and clerical assignments to meet BHRM needs and requirements. Maintain BHRM files (electronic and print), correspondence, documents, and materials, adhering to record retention guidelines.
6. Assist with managing HR-related mailboxes and incoming mail. Ensure incoming emails are handled and responded to timely.
7. Type, proofread, review, correct and distribute correspondence, documents, records, and other written material. Make appropriate corrections to format and check for accuracy and validity. Obtain missing information to ensure completeness and finalization of correspondence.
8. Submit HR related transactions to the Business Services Center for processing.
9. Assist with Employee Services Unit activities.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Comments **The hours of this position requires working from 7:45 a.m to 3:45 p.m.
