Salary RangeFrom $48237 to $61575 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
Duties Description According to Civil Service Standards, in the Student Health Center, performs specific diagnostic procedures with appropriate consultation with the physician. Assist the physician with treatment and/or follow up care. Provide counseling and education as appropriate for health maintenance (cause, treatment, prevention, etc.). Assistance with monitoring overall functioning of the Student Health Service. Audits and interprets health records and documentation with specific focus on immunizations. Use triage system to ensure effective operation of services. Assesses students pleasantly and efficiently, directing them to the proper doctor/provider. Responsible for assisting coworkers with daily statistical records. Assist with documentation for NYS immunization requirements and performs other related duties.
Additional Comments In addition to the annual salary, this position will receive downstate location pay in the amount of $3,026.00 and geographic pay in the amount of $18,000.00. Credentials will be reviewed at the time of the interview.
