Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess a New York State driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. Candidates may be required to possess a CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement, and Passenger Endorsement. Candidates must also be 19A School Qualified.
Duties Description The Western New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO) in West Seneca, NY is seeking two full-time Motor Vehicle Operators. The hours would be 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. The needs of the facility may require schedule changes including off shift assignments.
• Motor Vehicle Operators regularly drive any of a variety of motor vehicles including automobiles, buses, trucks and wheelchair vans in order to transport people, material, and equipment as required.
The primary duties include but are not limited to:
• Bus Driving
• Grass Cutting
• Snow Plowing
• Shoveling
• Campus Grounds Work
• Minor Vehicle Maintenance
• Moving (Office and Residential)
• Operate Heavy Equipment
• Transporting supplies, equipment, etc.
Additional Comments Please note:
