Minimum Qualifications A bachelor’s degree and seven years of increasingly responsible experience in government, policy or related industries. Substitution: four years of experience described may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Duties Description Incumbent will serve as a Senior Advisor to the Commissioner to assist in managing and directing a diverse array of projects, initiatives, and duties to support the administration of the statewide addiction services and supports system. The Senior Advisor will provide guidance and support to the Commissioner on: organizational management and operations functions, including organizational change strategies and processes; policy review, research, analysis, and development; program planning and implementation, including program evaluation; governmental and community partnership management; strategic direction for special projects; special research projects including preparation of reports; and more. The Senior Advisor will report to the Commissioner, work collaboratively with Agency staff and leadership, and direct or supervise staff as assigned.

Additional Comments Travel approximately 20%.
