Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Computer Systems + minimum three years Treasury experience.

Relevant experience required: Good working knowledge of treasury operations; excellent aptitude for systems and software; experience in U.S. Government & Federal Agency securities market and money market instruments preferred.
Knowledge required: Working knowledge of Treasury Information Management (preferably PeopleSoft) and excellent skills in Excel/Word a must.

Duties Description BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for solving Treasury Operations related software issues, e.g. Treasury Information Management Systems, PeopleSoft Treasury modules, online banking software applications, and other Treasury related systems currently used. Develop and write reports, documentation and procedures to comply with various users’ needs. Assist in managing the corporate treasury activities as needed. Liaison with Banks and Trustees in opening new accounts and system setup and implementation.

WORK PERFORMED:
· Responsible for keeping users informed on how to fully utilize the various Treasury Operations software systems (including banking software) and applications and for resolving users’ problems.
· Formulate information related to users’ needs, develop specific reports and assist in writing the user reports from the system.
· Assist with updating the Treasury Operations manual documentation as policy and operating procedures change.
· Communicate with banks as needed for various banking activities.
· Secondary back up for issuing bi-weekly check runs and securing proper signatures, reconciliation and control of checks issued and checks disbursed and secondary back up for the cash manager.
· Responsible for setting up of new Bank accounts in all systems.
· Assist in reviewing banking expenses and reducing costs on a continual basis.
· Perform all security administration related to online financial/banking systems and user entitlements.
· Assist as needed with daily operations and ad hoc projects/requests.
Position expected to work onsite and/or remote consistent with NYS and ESD guidelines and needs.
