Duties Description Duties will include but not limited to:
Review all equipment fuel delivery tickets for proper locations and pricing based on State Contract prices. Creates requisitions, enters receipts, works with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment to fuel vendors.
Receives purchase as requested for Headquarters (HQ) Equipment & Inventory.
Responsible for entries and reconciliation for HQ Inventory and state Police HQ procurement cards.
Responsible for HQ on-hand inventory.
Required to perform spot checks, work closely with various HQ departments and field staff to fill order requests, performs inventory move order transactions.
Assist HQ Inventory Manager with data entries.
Handle Equipment & Inventory Archive Processing.
Responsible for department daily mail receipt and distribution along with departmental phone coverage.
Complete Time & Attendance entries for Equipment & Inventory Management.
Minimum Qualifications TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS FOR CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES: Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service allocated to a Grade 6 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1, 70.4, and/or Section 52.6 of the NYS Civil Service Law.
GENERAL PUBLIC AND/OR NY HELPS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience where most work time is spent performing mathematical operations, and/or clerical activities related to mathematical operations.
This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, this title may be filled via a non-competitive appointment, which means no examination is required but all candidates must meet the minimum qualifications of the title for which they apply.
At a future date, it is expected employees hired under NY HELPS will have their non-competitive employment status converted to competitive status, without having to compete in an examination. Employees will then be afforded with all of the same rights and privileges of competitive class employees of New York State. While serving permanently in an NY HELPS title, employees may take part in any promotion examination for which they are qualified.

ADDITIONAL PAY INFORMATION:
The salary range for this position includes all applicable annual components of pay which are:
Base Pay: $38,580-$55,058
Geographic Pay: $7,000 OR Recruitment & Retention Pay: $7,000
