Duties Description The Supervising Budgeting Analyst duties in Bureau of Fiscal Management will include but are not limited to the following:
• Reporting to the Division Director, this position is responsible for the Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Travel, Budget, and Revenue teams.
• Responsible for the financial management of Federal grant awards including tracking of expenditures to ensure they are within Federal guidelines.
• Prepare financial reports for Federal awards and maintain compliance with Federal audit standards.
• Oversight of the processing of revenue transactions.
• Assist in the resolution of transactional budget and cash errors.
• Develop projections and monitor expenditures and review relevant financial reports.
• Responsible for the development and submission of the Budget Request as required in the Agency Call Letter.
• Manage subordinate staff providing support for budgeting, revenue, purchasing, travel and management of the Department' s fleet cars.
• Provide direction to staff to ensure that coding is being done correctly and timely for agency wide purchases and accounts payable.
• Update agency wide procedures.
• Manage and oversee internal control procedures.
• Supervision of staff
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Permanent service in this title or one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c service in a title SG-23or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.
