Duties Description Responsibilities:
• Scheduling meetings and maintaining the Assembly Member’s calendar.
• Greet and assist constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Manage office correspondence, including drafting letters, responding to emails, and handling mail distribution.
• Maintain and organize files, databases, and office records.
• Support staff with event planning, including preparing materials and coordinating logistics.
• Perform other clerical duties, such as data entry, copying, and ordering office supplies.
• Part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible).
• $40k - $45k based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:
• Prior experience in an administrative, customer service, or government-related role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic office applications.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with New York State government and community issues is a plus.
