Duties Description 1. Monitor and respond to inboxes and communications from students and institutions.
2. Input data from inboxes and support data analysis efforts.
3. Support community outreach through resource sharing and resource development.
4. Participate in events and outreach efforts. Assist students and offer amazing customer service.
5. Working with teams to resolve individual and systematic issues.
6. Attendance and participation in departmental meetings.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications *NOTE: Qualifying candidates must be available to work part-time through the end of the current semester and full-time, 37.5 hours per week once the current semester ends. It is anticipated that candidates will begin full-time employment mid to late May.
• Currently enrolled in a higher education institution, pursuing a degree in political science, sociology, or related field.
• Awareness of issues impacting special populations, including socioeconomic, cultural, and educational disparities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WebEx.
Additional Comments TELECOMMUTING INFORMATION: Initially positions work full-time in the office and a hybrid telecommuting schedule of up to 50% remote work can be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview.
