Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide confidential EAP assessment and referral services to employees and their families.
• Create and maintain a resource file of local, public, and private services.
• Maintain regular contact and communication with State and NYSIF EAP representatives.
• Complete and submit a monthly statistical report to the EAP regional office and the committee.
• Assist the agency in formulating a response to critical incidents in and outside the workplace.
• Provide New Employee Orientation, EAP Training for Supervisors, and other promotional presentations or training, as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, and ethical behavior.
• May support multi-agency coordinator functions.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Six years of experience* in equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion, or human rights.
*Qualifying experience includes working with organizations concerned with equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion, civil rights, minority business development, or similar programs; or in recruiting, training, and upgrading the educational and job qualifications of protected class members.
*Substitutions: Associate degree may substitute for two years of specialized experience; bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of specialized experience; master's degree may substitute five years of specialized experience; J.D. may substitute for six years of specialized experience.

Please note, the salary range displayed includes special salary treatments, such as location pay.
For candidates new to NYS, the starting salary for this position will be the bottom of the range displayed and is not subject to negotiation. For candidates that are current NYS employees, salaries are calculated in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations, and negotiated union contracts.
